Pottery inspired by henna art

I’ve been a henna artist for 7 years now and I love putting unique designs on each one of my mugs. Each motif is drawn on individually, so each mug is a little different. The texture is slightly raised for an interesting sensory experience, and the design faces you when held in your dominant hand (left- and right-handed mugs available!).

I love how lightweight your pottery is! My mug fits perfectly in my hand and the handle is so comfortable. Even when it’s full of coffee it doesn’t hurt my wrist to hold. -LvG

Saskatchewan Wild Clay Pottery

Made from hand-dug mud from my farm in Saskatchewan! These pieces are close to my heart and I’ve poured my soul into the project to get them into your hands. I don’t live there anymore and I miss the land of living skies; but this pottery helps me feel connected to the place I call home. They’re great conversation pieces and a fantastic way for you to celebrate your own connection to Saskatchewan!

Handmade with love in British Columbia, Canada

Justine (Stiina) Lustig creates each piece with her hands, using slab building and slip-trailing techniques. Her experience as a henna artist allows her to individually draw designs on her pottery mugs and tableware with intricate details and a pleasing raised texture. Studio Stiina mugs are lightweight and comfortable to hold even for arthritic hands.

Justine smiles at the camera as she holds three cardboard boxes decorated with cute drawings and the names "Amanda", "Marcela", and "Heather". She is standing in a wintery scene.
